Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Chandigarh to Narkanda (180 km / 6–7 hrs)

Upon arrival at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station, begin your journey towards Narkanda, a serene hill station surrounded by pine forests and apple orchards. Drive through Shimla, Kufri, and Theog, enjoying scenic mountain views. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. In the evening, visit Hatu Peak (highest point in the region) or Tannu Jubbar Lake. (Note: Final stretch to Hatu Peak requires a short walk or local taxi.) Overnight stay in Narkanda.

Day 2

Narkanda to Kalpa via Sarahan (165 km / 6–7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Kalpa, a beautiful village in Kinnaur known for stunning views of the Kinner Kailash range. En route, visit Sarahan, home to the famous Bhimakali Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Continue your journey along the Sutlej River valley, enjoying dramatic mountain landscapes. Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 3

Kalpa to Tabo via Nako & Khab Sangam (200 km / 8–9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive towards Tabo, entering the magical region of Spiti Valley. En route highlights: • Khab Sangam – Confluence of Spiti & Sutlej Rivers • Nako Village – Visit the peaceful Nako Lake and Monastery Continue through rugged terrain and barren mountains to reach Tabo. Overnight stay in Tabo.

Day 4

Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar (80 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, over 1,000 years old and known for its murals and heritage significance. Later proceed to: • Dhankar Monastery – Dramatically located on a cliff (short hike required) Continue to Kaza, the main town of Spiti Valley. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 5

Kaza Local Sightseeing (High Altitude Villages Tour)

After breakfast, explore the iconic villages around Kaza: • Langza – Known as the fossil village • Hikkim – Home to the world’s highest post office • Komic – One of the highest motorable villages in the world Later visit: • Key Monastery – The largest and most iconic monastery in Spiti (short climb required) Return to Kaza. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 6

Kaza to Kalpa (200 km / 8–9 hrs)

After an early breakfast, begin your return journey towards Kalpa, retracing the scenic route through Spiti and Kinnaur valleys. Enjoy changing landscapes from cold desert to greener valleys. Overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 7

Kalpa to Shimla (230 km / 8–9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Shimla, following the Sutlej River route. Take breaks at: • Rampur Bushahr – Historic town • Jeori – Small market stop Arrive in Shimla by evening and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 8

Shimla to Chandigarh Drop (120 km / 4–5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Chandigarh for your onward journey. Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of Spiti Valley.
