Village Tours of Kinnaur

Pick up from the airport and transfer to Narkanda , check in the Hotel , dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel

After breakfast  visit Hatu temple – wodden temple and enjoy outstanding view from the Hatu temple , transfer to Kalpa , On reaching Kalpa, check in at Hotel. By the side of Kalpa is a 79-foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes and is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Later visit the Buddhist Gompa - Hu Bu Lan Kar. Overnight stay at Hotel.

We drive from Kalpa to Pangi (15 km) by jeep. Pangi is one of the biggest villages in Kinnaur district and it faces the great Kinner Kailash peak, also known as Jorkandan peak. We will stay there for about 30 minutes and then continue up to Rarang village.

Rarang is a monastic village which have caves  which is for Buddhist monk including Ga Rinpoche. visit the old traditional houses, the grain houses, and the temple of the local deity called Pathoro Dumbar..

After Rarang, we will move ahead to Jangi village (10 km) above the old National Highway, also called the Hindustan Tibet Road. We will move around  Jangi village for about 1 hours,visit the deity temple and Buddhist temple check in the Homestay

After breakfast we leave for Lippa (10km) by jeep, visit Lippa village, and then start to trek up to Labrang village. The trekking route is the old Hindustan Tibet Road, or Silk Route. Locals and shepherds now use it as a mule road. The trek will end above Spillo village. Our jeep will pick us up there and drive us to Labrang village (4-5 km) where our lunch will be served.

In Labrang (2900m), there are many traditional wooden houses and a beautiful Fort that is 450-500 years old,. We twill  trek to Kanam village, check into our KANUM HOMESTAY in Kanam.

After breakfast, we visit  of Kanam’s monasteries. there are 7 monasteries, including the temple of a local deity named Dabla. Kha-Che-Lagang is one of the oldest monasteries within the area, established by the great scholar and translator Ringchen-Tsangpo from 958 to 1055 A.D.

In Kanam village, one can see the great scripts of Lord Buddha’s teachings called KANGYUR and TANGYUR, and the Kangyur monastery is where they have been kept for centuries.

then we return to our KANUM HOMESTAY in Kanam, where dinner will be enjoyed with the local wine made from apricot and Apple

After breakfast, we trek to Shyatso Khud (9 km) by following the old Hindustan Tibet Road. Then, the jeep will pick us up at the Shyatso Khud and we will head towards Sunnam.

 We will drive to 'Ropa valley'. There are 6 villages in this green valley and also they celeberate Bish Zatrang festival ,you will find  three different types languages: Sunnami in Sunnam village, standard kinnauri in Giabong and Ropa village, Shumtso in Rushkalang village

In the morning , we start to trek up to Hango-Leo. The trek is quite steep, thus it will take at least half a day to reach the pass (3850m).

Packed breakfast and lunch will be provided on the way to Hangrang valley. After the pass, it will take more than 3 hours to reach Hango village. We can stay overnight in Hango or carry on to Leo, which is 10 km further.

We leave for Leo by jeep or we trek 10 km to Leo, and then another 8 km trek to Nako, using a steep trail. The trek will start right after breakfast. Lunch will be served on the way to Nako in a restaurant. Overnight at a homestay in Nako village (hot shower provided).

The full day will be spent in visiting Nako and its surrounding , overnight stay at Nako

After breakfast, we head back to Kalpa via Moorang to see the Moorang fort. Overnight stay in Kalpa

After breakfast transfer to Kufri , check in the Hotel overnight stay at kufri

After breakfast transfer to Chandigarh for your onward journey
